Forming Socially Responsible Design for Sustainable Development

The article discusses various aspects of the formation of a socially responsible approach of designing among students which are studying design at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in such disciplines as design history and theory, as well as history of art. Mainly the ecological component of the problem of sustainable development is discussed. The issues of history of formation of the social responsibility of the designer, the ecological approach in design, sustainable design are touched upon.
