The Future of EFL Reading: How Digital Technology is Changing the Game

Abstract:

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of integrating a Digital Storytelling Project (DS) aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into English lessons to improve the reading skills of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in Taiwan. This quasi-experimental study involved 62 college students in a private university. The research employed various assessment tools, including initial and final assessments of English reading comprehension, alongside classroom observations.
